Scott E. Rupp - The Tampa Tribune

Hello. Thanks for taking the time to read my profile. Hopefully you've found my articles entertaining, informative and helpful.

A little about myself: I've been a professional writer for the last 10 years. I'm most proud of my time at The Tampa Tribune where I was a multi-award winning reporter, photographer and editor. Prior to that, I was an off-Broadway theater critic in Los Angeles for LA Weekly and Pasadena Weekly. I've also written pieces for The Quarterly Magazine and Southern California Physicians Magazine, and have been a music critic for Salem Monthly.

Currently, I'm the director of communications for one of the largest providers of health coverage in the Northwest where I work with the media, write and edit the newsletter, and develop messages for our members so they are able to use their health plans in ways that most benefit them.

I've written a novel and am working on a collection of short stories, which I'm currently shopping around. My fiction has appeared in Bewildering Stories, and my stage play was published in the Oregon Literary Review.

It's a pleasure working with Suite101. It's a great site, with excellent information and I hope you're finding what you seek. If you haven't yet, you will. There's something here for everyone.

Pull up a chair. Click around. Read. Enjoy.
